With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lonnie R. Mears Sr. of Muskegon, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Lonnie left this world on March 27, 2026 at the age of 70, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

As Lonnie departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Lonnie may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Lonnie leaves behind.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Mears and Mary Mears (Knapp). He is survived by: his wife Linda Glore; his children, Lonnie Mears Jr. (Joanna), Katrina Jackson, Angela Mears and Tony Mears; and his close friend Tom Sladick. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; one sister and three stepsiblings.

Per Lonnie's request there will be no public services held, but in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Harbor Hospice Foundation.
