She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Peterson and Shirlee Peterson; her brother Nels Peterson; and her uncle Richard Monthei. She is survived by: her husband Chuck Buhl; her children, Charen Buyce (Doug), Pete Buhl (Lynee) and Trevor Buhl (Stephanie); her grandchildren, Eliott Buyce, Faith Buyce, Sloane Buhl, Harrison Buhl, Bennett Buhl, Michael McClellan (Emily), Chloe Buhl and Justin Buhl; her great grandchildren, Eleanore McClellan, Sully McClellan and Fletcher McClellan; her nephews, Jacob and Jordan Lewis; and her sister Greta Peterson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Maren's honor to West Shore Lutheran School or the Mayo Clinic online or mailed to Mayo Clinic, Department of Development, 200 First St SW, Rochester, MN 55905.
