She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Alger and Margaret Alger (Westover); and her siblings, Hugh Alger and Sue Alrich. She is survived by: her husband Jim; her daughters, Elizabeth Foster (Jeff) and Sarah Carden; her grandchildren, Aurora McIntyre (Tyler), Alivia Foster (Garrett Bloom) and Amelia Foster (Andrew Stager); her great grandchild Easton McIntyre; her brother David Alger; her mother-in-law Marion Poole; and her in-laws, Susan Cardenm Emily Roberts (Greg) and Tim Carden. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Park Meadows Community Center (210 Giles Rd, Muskegon, MI 49445).
