Nancy Lee Schneider Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nancy Lee Schneider (Muskegon, Michigan), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 4, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David "Pete" Shelkey and Harriet M. Shelkey (Weyerbacher); her daughter Angela Kay Schneider; and her siblings, Darlene Pickering, Marion Bentley, Lester Shelkey (Joyce), Ronald Shelkey, Clyde Shelkey and Doris Johnston.
She is survived by: her husband Russ; her children, Sarah Wilkins (Bud Maycroft) and Russel Schneider, Jr.; her grandchildren, Logan, Loralei Schneider and Jennifer (Stewart Conyers); her great grandchildren, Lilly Maycroft and Jerrell Klein; her siblings, Frances "Pat", Weselow, Gloria Crain, Susan Smith and Michael Bentley; and her brother-in-law Franklyn Morningstar. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and bonus grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Claybanks United Methodist Church (9197 S 56th Ave, Montague, MI 49437). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society, St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the family.
