He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Hoffmeyer and Eleanor Hoffmeyer (Gue); and his stepmother Mary Hoffmeyer (Olson). He is survived by: his children, Jill Hill (Robert), Robbie Hoffmeyer (Tressa), Christopher Hoffmeyer and Kimberly Hoffmeyer; his grandchildren, Kaela Hill, Kaidyn Hill, Kahlan Hill, Zander Hoffmeyer, Lynae Smith, Dominic Hoffmeyer, Jaylynne Smith and Blayne Smith; and his siblings, Tom "Dewey" Hoffmeyer, Rick Hoffmeyer (Alice), Daryl "Jess" Hoffmeyer (Valerie), Terry Hoffmeyer (Nancy), David Hoffmeyer (Kristina), Tony Hoffmeyer, Dan Hoffmeyer (Amanda) and Penny Perez (Benji). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Mathew Lutheran Church (15395 Rannes St, Spring Lake, MI 49456). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
