He was predeceased by: his son Robert Lee Calkins; his parents, Charles Calkins and Agnes Calkins; and his siblings, Maxine Vender, Joyce Reynolds, Charles Calkins and Raymond Calkins.
He is survived by: his sister Lucille Durgan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
