We are sad to announce that, on April 19, 2026, at the age of 76, Roy Nelson Whitten Sr. of Muskegon, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Whitten and Mary Whitten; and his sisters, Beatrice and Beverly. He is survived by: his children, Roy Whitten Jr. (Kammie), Erin Whitten, Ryan Whitten (Niki) and Chad Whitten (Kellie); his grandchildren, Ethan, Savannah, Seth, Shiloh, Addison, Finley and Emery; and his siblings, Nancy, Ola, Mary and Melvin Whitten Jr..

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the Muskegon County Veteran Food Bank.
