She is survived by: her children, Dawn Francis (Thomas) and David Thies (Beth); her granddaughters, Sharon (Andrew), Jennifer (Carlos), Anna and Mariah; her great grandchildren, Aubrey, Breena, Natia, Kiley, Evan, Alex and Adrian; her great great grandchild Kai; her brother Steve VanderKooi (Sharon); her nephew Aaron (Chasity); and her niece Michelle (Justin).
Visitation was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (3225 Roosevelt Rd, Muskegon, MI 49441). A memorial service was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions in Sharon's memory may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or Habitat for Humanity of Muskegon County.
