We announce the death of Sue Ellen Launstein (Muskegon, Michigan), who passed away on September 4, 2026, at the age of 77. Sue will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Norm Zahrt and Marvel Zahrt; her brothers, Stan, Paul and Floyd Zahrt; her siblings-in-law, Theresa Zahrt and Fran Launstein; and her close friend Dale Vanderstelt.

She is survived by: her aunt Susie; her husband James Launstein (Jim); her children, Becki and Shawn Spitzer; her grandchildren, Astrid Beaudoin, Henry Spitzer and McGuire Spitzer; and her siblings, Chris Zahrt, Norm Zahrt, Tracy Zahrt, Sandy Becker and Skip Becker. She is also survived by Aunt.
