Tyler Newton Obituary

We bid farewell to Tyler Newton in Muskegon, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 20, 2025 at the age of 72. Tyler touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Newton and Leola Newton (Swayze); and his brothers, Kim and Craig Newton. He is survived by: his wife Susan Newton; his children, Colin Billingsley (Julie), Megan Reelman (John) and Jillian Burgam (Calder); his grandchildren, Jack Reelman, Cienna Billingsley, Emma Reelman, Miah Billingsley, Hollen Emmick, Mea Emmick and Eleanor Burgam; his siblings-in-law, Tim Hoeker, Jane Bell and Debbie Newton; his nephew Daniel Newton; and his niece Kate Newton (Sam Duwe).

What made his love of music so special was that he would write and perform for the people he loved, including his completely unfamous hit "Pandemic Anniversary Song".

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Habitat for Humanity of Michigan, a cause close to Tyler's heart.
