He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Willis "Buck" Nuismer and Ruth Nuismer; his daughters, Megan Nuismer-Herrington and Sara Nuismer; his grandson Donovan; and his partner Sandee.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Muskegon Rescue Mission.May his memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved him.
