It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael W. Smith of Napoleon, Michigan, who passed away on October 3, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sidney Smith and Mary Kathryn Smith (Enners). He is survived by: his children, Brein Smith (Bryan Plummer), Brenna Long (Mckenna), Dawn Marie Ehrlich (George) and Michael Gibbs; his grandchildren, Evan Smith (Kylie), Ian Smith (Bailey Jewell), Shep, Hayes Long, Chelsea Ehrlich (Chris), Mikey, Breanna and Kourtney; his great grandchildren, Barrett Smith and Apollo Ehrlich; and his siblings, Bruce Smith and Sandy Jessup (Mike). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
