He is survived by: his wife Kristi Dean of Nashville, Michigan; his mother Lockie Champlin of Lansing, Michigan; his stepmother Helen Dean of Luzerne, Michigan.; his children, Leila Hollister (Nick) of Bellevue and Lacey Councell (Mark) of Kalamazoo, Michigan; his brother James Jones (LeeAnn) of Lapeer, Michigan; and his siblings-in-law, Traci Shell (John) of Dimondale, Michigan and Paul Summers of Charlotte, Michigan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
