She was predeceased by: her parents, Theron Belson and Ruth Belson; her children, Pamela Godbey and Thomas Bishop; her in-laws, Kenneth Sr. and Betty Meade; and her siblings, Ed (Edith Maurer), Don (Margie Varney), Lucy Belson, Joyce Curtis, Lawrence "Honk" (Della Keeler) and Sam Stout Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Glenn Godbey, Marcia Culhane (Brian), Kenneth Bishop (Mary) and Randy Bishop (Teresa); her stepsons, Kenneth III and Richard Meade (Shawnda); and her sisters, Kathy Stout and Linda Dobson. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions can be made in Sharon's name to the Maple Valley Scholarship Fund or the Nashville Historical Society.
