It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John A. Thompson of National City, Michigan, who passed away on October 18, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Thompson and Helen Thompson; his wife Linda Thompson; his sister Norma Vanduser; and his son-in-law Mark Coggins.
He is survived by: his children, Jaynie Coggins and Ben Thompson (Lisa); his siblings, Robert Thompson and Patricia Swartz (Ken); his grandchildren, Kristine Cooper, Bryan Chambers (Chelsey) and Corinne Thompson; his great grandchildren, Emma, Allyson, Lily, Aubrey, Cole and Brynn; and his nephews, Rob Sharpe, David Sharpe and Chad Thompson.
