It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest Robert King of Naubinway, Michigan, who passed away on August 12, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Ernest departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Ernest may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Ernest leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest "Pete" King and Vides King (Whitford). He is survived by: his wife Bev of Naubinway; and his children, Theron King (Helen) of St. Ignace, Laurie Stabile (Ralph) of Petoskey and Kenny King (Lila) of Naubinway. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
