He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hise and Barbara Van Hise (Nichols). He is survived by: his wife Cheryl L. Ball of Naubinway; his children, Brandy L. Anderson of Minnesota, Joel R. Van Hise of Minnesota, Jill R. Ruxlow of Missouri and Lacy A. Lingg of Wisconsin; and his brothers, John J. Van Hise (Debbie) of Gainesville and Robert Van Hise of Anderson, Indiana.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
