She was predeceased by: her parents, James Weir and Virginia Weir (Tuovila) of Michigan's Upper Peninsula; her husband Dennis Salmer; and her son Michael Salmer. She is survived by: her daughter Pam Rankinen (Wayne) of Tilden Township; her grandchildren, Katie and Zack; her siblings, Brian and Cindy; her cousin JoAnn; and her pet Maddie.
