He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Tipsword and Florence "Tommy" Tipsword (Rochon); and his wife Pauline "Polly" Tipsword. He is survived by: his sister Carol Stott (Tipsword) of Negaunee Township; his children, Lisa Tipsword (Kenton Potila) of Ishpeming, MI, Dave Tipsword (Dawn) of Palmer, MI and Chris Tipsword (Kathy) of Grand Blanc, MI; his son-in-law Eric Stott (Tami) of Oklahoma City, OK; and his grandchildren, Allana Stott (Mike Bush), Eric Stott Jr. (Jennie), Cassie Stott, Erin Stott (Cameron Allman), Connal Potila, Allen Tipsword (Ana), Alex Tipsword (Kimberly Tracy), Meghan Tipsword, Jordyn Tipsword (Hunter Stiff) and Joshua Tipsword. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great grandchildren and numerous extended family.
