He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Shaffer and Christina Shaffer (Cockburn); his daughter Cynthia; his sister Marjorie Taylor (Don); his sister-in-law Carolyn Willig (Bill); his aunt Eva Adams (Bill); and his nephew Nick Willig.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Shaffer (Korpi); his pet Brenda; his son Jeffrey Shaffer (Dwight Lapine); his niece Lynn McDonnell; his nephew Mike Willig; and his cousins, Chris Martin and Betty Mahoney (Dennis).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed in Jack's memory to Community Lutheran Church.
