Though John may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his brothers, Michael and Robert Symons. He is survived by: his close friend Kathy McDonnell; his daughter Linda Kimsel of Marquette; and his sisters, Kathleen Symons (Kenny Maki) of Negaunee, Patricia Garbett (Howard) of Negaunee, Sheree Pelletier of Negaunee and Julie Heidtman of Negaunee. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
