She was predeceased by: her parents, William'Buster' Riekki and Ruth Riekki (Niemi); her husband Ronald; her son Dave Laitinen; and her brother Jack Riekki.
She is survived by: her son Rick Laitinen; her grandchildren, Sara, Katie, Josh and Jenna; her great grandchildren, Everly, Eiley Kumpula and Aaliyah Laitinen; and her daughter-in-law Kelly Laitinen (Frazier).
