He was predeceased by: his parents, David Pynnonen and Ida Pynnonen (Romo); and his wife Joan Fassbender of Ishpeming. He is survived by: his children, Jeff Pynnonen (Angela) of Copemish and Jill Madsen (Marty) of Ishpeming; his grandchildren, Noel Sutherland, Trevor (Amanda), Nickolas (Taylor Jo Roman), Tyler Pynnonen (Audra), Matthew (Rachel) and Mitchell Matta (Amie); and his sister Betty Ann Schneider (Jim) of Marquette. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
