He was predeceased by: his in-laws, Elsie (Franti) and Marteen Kantola. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Kantola; his daughters, Lori Young (Mark) of Sands Township and Staci Jones (Chris) of Lexington; his grandsons, Tyler and Travis Young; and his sister Judy Ridley of Negaunee Township. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (520 US Hwy 41, Negaunee, MI 49866). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Negaunee Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed in Rudy's memory to the DJ Jacobetti Home for Veterans or Immanuel Lutheran Church.
