He was predeceased by: his parents, John Laituri and Irene Laituri (Romback). He is survived by: his wife Linda Blaha; his children, Tina Barber of Marquette, Steve Laituri (Sarah) of Negaunee and Brenda Laituri-Cass (Dan) of Gladstone; his grandchildren, Conner, Kyle, Callie, Lydia Barber, Taylor Blake, Marley and Taylor Cyrene; and his brothers, Richard, David (Reva) and Gary (Judy).
