He is survived by: his wife Dolores Lachowicz Schnaidt; his nephew David Martin (Jean); his siblings, Loran Schnaidt (Sandy) of St. Louis, Laura Schnaidt of Denver and Donald Schnaidt; and his nieces and nephews, Karla Kramer (David), Marnie Donohoo (Dave), Kerrie Stawizynski (Kyle) of St. Louis, Jana Reussow (Rich) of Denver and Patrick Schnaidt of Denver.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wasik Funeral Home - Gendernalik Chapel (35259 23 Mile Rd., New Baltimore, MI 48047). The lying in state will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Christ Lutheran Church (50750 Walpole St, New Baltimore, MI 48047). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
