She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Josif Samoilo and Maria Samoilo (Cavet); her husband Leo Jaksa; her daughter Mary Ann Bauman (Jessica Larder) of Nicola Jaksa, DC; her grandsons, Benjamin and Jacob Bauman; and her siblings, Eufrozina Daogaru and Maria Giura (Petru). She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
