He was predeceased by: his spouse Beverly; his daughter Stacie Sherman; his parents, Lorne Crandall and Elaine Crandall; and his siblings, Terry Crandall and Linda McMillan.

He is survived by: his children, Daniel Crandall (Kristina), Shawn Crandall (Molly) and Jill Becker (Jeff); his grandchildren, Mackenzie, Noah, Madison, John, Joshua, Kaelyn, Grace, Kamryn, Benjamin, Joseph and Aidan; his sister Donna Day (Rick); and his son-in-law Robert Sherman.
