He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Gail; his children, David Meldrum, Kimberly Beckett, Lisa Meldrum and Debbie Meldrum; his stepchild Stacey Sanders; and his siblings, Marie Mousseau and Rocky Meldrum. He was also cherished by many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of floral arrangements memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
