He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold D. Hughes and Delphine Hughes; his sisters, Donna Quinn and Mary Ellen Hartman; and his brothers-in-law, Louis (Holly) and James DeGennaro.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Hughes; his children, Amy Haborak (Chris) and Jeff Hughes (Stacie); his grandchildren, Jackson, Emma, Abby and TJ; his sister Kathy Green; his siblings-in-law, Frederick (Jo Anne), William (Diane) and Thomas DeGennaro (Kristin); and his sibling's children, Shawn (Kristin), Colleen (Louis), Susan (Bill), Ken, Peter, Michael, Paul, Anthony (Angie), Stephanie, Janel (Ryan), Jill (John), John Mackenzie (Bobbi), Rileigh and Ava.
The family requests that donations be made to the Donna Quinn scholarship fund at De La Salle High School.
