He was predeceased by: his parents, Vergil McTevia and Marie McTevia; his son Jimi; his daughter-in-law Joan; and his granddaughter Jocelyn.
He is survived by: his wife Joan (Mugridge); his children, Anita Dupes (John), Michael McTevia (Mary) and John McTevia; and his grandchildren, Jason, Maggie, Nathan, Nicole, Jenna, Jacob and Madison. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home (1720 Elk St, Port Huron, MI 48060). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
