He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Long and Rena Adcox; his sister Evelyn; his former wife Mildred Marie Bailey; and his son Lennis Long (Fran).

He is survived by: his wife Joyce Rickert; his daughter Melissa Jolley (James); and his grandchildren, Quynton, Christopher, Katie, Jalissa and Jason.
