He is survived by: his children, Joey Gerdes, Bradley Gerdes (Kimberly), Stacey Bolton (Terry) and Kelly Rittenberry (Davis); his grandchildren, Brianna (Eric Shepherd), Austin Gerdes, Garrett Bolton, Julia (Matthew White), Joseph Gerdes, Mackenzie Gerdes, Evan McClusky, Lydia Gerdes, Emery McClusky Myra Ramsey and Jackie Ramsey; and his great grandchildren, Sawyer Jean, Makaio Timmy, Maizie Lillie and Jasper Allan-James.
