He was predeceased by: his wife Sylvia; his son Robert Hopkins; and his friend Phyllis Schenkus. He is survived by: his children, Bonnie Stoehn, Roy W. Hopkins, Jr., Kenneth Hopkins (Cyndi) and Debbie Wilson (Mike); his grandchildren, Lisa (Mike) and Brian (Erica); and his sisters, Marcella Markel (Norm) and Helen Schultz (late Bob). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
