We announce the death of Thomas Walter Loy Sr. (New Baltimore, Michigan), who passed away on August 9, 2026, at the age of 84. Thomas will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Loy and Anne Loy; and his sister Eva Gilley (Loy). He is survived by: his significant other Heather Helton; his sons, Thomas Walter Loy, Jr. (Kelly) and Jeffrey Michael Loy (Amy Cohen); his grandchildren, Justin (Stephanie), Garrett (Abby), Caleb (Kendi), Grace, Katelyn and Beckett; his great grandchildren, Eden, Cooper, Aria, Griffynn, Jackson, Kynlee, Oliver and Steele; his brother-in-law Harvey Gilley; and his niece Gena Driscoll (Dan).
