It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James E. Williams of New Haven, Michigan, born in Ferndale, Michigan, who passed away on May 7, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Williams and Anne Williams; and his wife Mary Lou Bandlow. He is survived by: his daughters, Faye Geier (Dan), Dianne Phillips (Mike), Susan Williams, Julie Williams and Lisa Limbright (Henry). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

“Mr. Williams was my Dads best friend throughout his schools years and beyond. My Dad passed on May 12, 2013. My Dad (Les Hartwig) had told me many stories about himself and Jim. One being when they were in high school (New Haven, class of 1946)- they both went swimming at the “pit”. My Dad got in over his head, and was drowning, He did not know how to swim. Jim dove in, and saved his life. They are together once again. RIP Mr. Williams. Hope you & Dad have happy times again in Heaven🙏”
