She was predeceased by: her parents, Sophia Johnson and Ishem Chatton Sr.; her son Jesse Jones III; and her siblings, Joyce, Edwina, Debbie, Valerie, Mamie and Ishem Jr..
She is survived by: her daughter Donna Jones-Tyus (Robin); her grandchildren, Jason Jones and Lauren Jones; and her siblings, Louis Kincaid and Tennie. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
