Ann Marie Derck Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ann Marie Derck of Newaygo, Michigan, who passed away on September 30, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Waldherr and Herrmina "Mina" Waldherr; her siblings, Mary Dunneback (Paul), Martha Gilde, Max Waldherr and Carl Waldherr (Marcia); and her in-laws, Vincent and Josephine Derck.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Joseph Derck; her children, Robert J. Derck III (Linda Stansberry), Shari Lockard (Dale), Gina DeMeester (Scott) and Vivian Felde; her grandchildren, Randy Lockard (Katrina), Ryan Lockard (Kari), Nicole Hart (Tyler), James Derck (Rachel), Jordan Gaudio (Steve), Jade Havenaar (Ben), Eve Yanocy (Alec), Megan DeMeester and Trenton DeMeester; her sister Elizabeth Iuppenlatz (Fritz); and her sister-in-law Carol Blumenstein. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Bartholomew Catholic Church (599 W Brooks St, Newaygo, MI 49337). A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
