She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney John and Wilma Geraldine Gorsky (VanDam); her husband Gerald Peter Thees; her children, Kimberly Page and John Thees; and her brother John Gorsky.
She is survived by: her children, Gwen Pascoe, Valerie Basney of Mt. Pleasant, MI, Shelley Fletcher (Doug) of Lowell, MI, Felicia Pierce (Tom) of Lake Stevens, WA, Jim Thees (Sherry) of Shelbyville, MI, Victoria Horton of Mt. Pleasant, MI and Cozette Horton (Chris) of Caledonia, MI; her daughter-in-law Toni Thees of Lake Stevens, WA; her grandchildren, Dan, Ross, Ashley, Zachary P., Samantha, Isaac, Dustin, Rebecca, Trevor, Jeffrey, Sage, John, Stephanie, Zachary R. and Natasha; her siblings, Mark Gorsky (Nadine) of Byron Center, MI and Cynthia Thrall (Jim) of Grandville, MI; her sisters-in-law, Ruth Gorsky of Hudsonville, MI and Betty Ann Fager (Dan) of Amanda, OH; and her cousins, Pat DeBoer, Blair Jarvis, George Schambach and Evelyn Thompson. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Emilie's honor, a cause near and dear to her heart.
