We are sad to announce that on December 3, 2025 we had to say goodbye to George Nelson Jr. of Newaygo, Michigan. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George H. Nelson and Madge Nelson; and his parents-in-law, Yannis and Penelopi Kilipozoglou. He is survived by: his wife Litsa; his children, Eric Nelson (Jamie), Missy Dyke (Matt), Justin Nelson, Ellen Filippidis and Yanna Filippidis (Noah Ogbi); his grandchildren, Alex Nelson, Travis Nelson, Mason Dyke (Emily), Morgan Dyke, Miller Dyke and Aris Ogbi; and his sisters, Suzanne Andres and Kris Andres (Mike). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (4145 Chicago Dr SW, Grandville, MI 49418). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
