He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn Koepsell (Downer); his brother Jack; and his sister-in-law Diane Ensley. He is survived by: his children, James A. Koepsell and Jennifer Gilmore (Mike); his brother Bob Koepsell (Rose); his brothers-in-law, Mike Downer (Jenifer), Mark Ensley, Blain Ensley (Sara) and Shawn Ensly; and his granddaughters, Amber Koepsell, Victoria Gilmore and Emily Gilmore. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
