He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Stroven and Mary Elizabeth Stroven (Harris); his wife Jerry; and his nephews, John Schaub and Todd Tubergen.
He is survived by: his caregiver Linda Ward; his siblings, William Stroven (Diane), Kenneth Stroven (Jeannie), Mary Tubergen (Richard), George Stroven, Jr. (Barbara), Richard Stroven (Rosalie), Marguerite Stroven and John Stroven; and also, Teresa DeMull, Nancy Hills (Ernie Cushman), Donna Zeldenrust (Jim) and Juanita Zimmerman. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be given to either the Newaygo County Compassion Home, or to the Newaygo County Animal Shelter.
