He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Arends and Margaret Arends of Bailey, MI; his sister Judy TerBeek (Marvin); and his nephew Michael Arends. He is survived by: his significant other Jane Arends (Ramthun); his children, Amy Zerlaut (Chad), John Arends (Ann), Beth Lindhout (Rick), Julie Chilson (Mark) and Dave Arends (Alyx); his grandchildren, Makayla, Zachary Zerlaut, Cooper, William, Elizabeth Arends, Mitchell, Katelyn, Tyler, Alyse Lindhout, Carson and Lucas Chilson; and his brothers, Jim Arends (Ruthann) and Jack Arends (Mary). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, and their children.
