It is with sadness that the passing of Joy Ann Barton of Newaygo, Michigan is shared. Joy, born on March 29, 1938, passed away on July 9, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Salacina and Anna Salacina (Sokolowski); her husband Bruce Barton; her siblings, Abe, Chuck, Henry, Carl, Lloyd Salacina, Rosie Hansel, Ruby Kuhns and Betty Neibarger; and her grandson-in-law Derek Wilson.
She is survived by: her children, Arthur Barton (Kristi), Alan Barton (Pam) and Shelley Wawsczyk (Ron); and her grandchildren, Anna Wilson, Aaron Barton (Jeana), Andrea Strong (Derek), Nicole Bouwkamp (Evan) and Nathaniel Barton (Taylor Hills). She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren; and by a number of nieces and nephews.
