He is survived by: his wife Linda Lee King; his children, Heather Hopwood (Chad Moore) and Jay Michael King; his grandchildren, Jessica Sapp (Robert), Breanna Queen (Dakota) and Riley Hopwood; his great grandchildren, Nova Queen, Owen Queen and Rogue Sapp; and his sisters, Ann Woodward (Larry) and Star Sutliff.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Better Life Church (9103 Mason Dr, Newaygo, MI 49337). A reception was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Newaygo VFW Post #4249 (45 Gene Fergason Lane, Newaygo, MI 49337).
