Steve leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Steve’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Steve will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sevarns and Merida Irene Sevarns (Case); Merida Irene Sevarns. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Sevarns; and his children, Steve Sevarns Jr., Cindy Sevarns, Gary Sevarns, Tim Sevarns (Yolanda) and Danelle Little (Randy). He is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren, with one great-grandchild on the way; four brothers; three sisters; and many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fields-McKinley Funeral and Cremation Services Newaygo Chapel (226 State Rd, Newaygo, MI 49337). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Fields-McKinley Funeral & Cremation Services (226 State Rd, Newaygo, MI 49337). A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 3:30 PM at the Aetna Township Cemetery.
