It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Arlene Frances Hill of Newberry, Michigan, born in Kent City, Michigan, who passed away on August 7, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Russell Anderson and Frances Anderson (Johnson); her children-in-law, Jerry Roach and Rita Hill; her sister Jean Afton; and her brother-in-law Max Freeland.

She is survived by : her children, Denise Roach of Eau Claire, Michael Hill (Dixie) of Rapid River, Beth Fritz (Mark Noble) of Curtis and Andrea Marsh (Robert) of Newberry; and her siblings, Joyce Lewis (Lynn), Tuff Anderson (Jo), Marvin Anderson (O'Linda), Ron Anderson, Wayne Anderson (Janice), Keith Anderson (Linda), Nancy Freeland, Dawn Churchill (Gene), Gary Anderson (Diane), Sue Knauf (Marv), Sally Anderson (John), Ken Anderson (Sue), Bonnie Butler (Steve) and Dean Anderson (Francine). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Arlene's loving memory.
