She was predeceased by: her parents, Addie Mae and Henry Bartrum; her siblings, Margaret, Gerald, Nelson, Henry, Addie Mae and Kenneth; her husband Clare R. Townsend Sr.; her children, Cheryl Hale (Larry), Terry Townsend (Carol), Jackie Craycraft (Jerry) and Bernard Townsend; and her grandsons, Marshall Lombard and Greg Stoner Jr..
She is survived by: her brother Alton of Brighton; her children, Clare R. "Ray" Townsend Jr. (Pat) of Clare, Jill Stoner (Greg) of White Cloud and Bonnie Wolfgang (Steve) of Newberry; and her grandchildren, Melony Wrath (Sam), Christine Reinsmith (Richard), Barry Laux (Leigh Ann), Brent Laux (Cinnamon), Michael Craycraft (Brandi) and Jodi Chappuies (Tom). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and great grandchildren.
