It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cheryl Jane Kerr of Newberry, Michigan, who passed away on June 2, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Walfred John Waara Jr.. She is survived by: her mother Marie Janet Waara of Marquette, MI; her siblings, Lynn Desrochers (Mike), Jim Waara (Raeanne) of L'Anse, MI and W. John Waara (Brad) of Round Rock, TX; her children, Jessica Columbus (Mike) of Gould City, MI and Ranae Johnston (Steve) of Flat Rock, MI; her grandchildren, Aurora and Zane Demers of Gould City, MI; and her former husband Randy Kerr of Naubinway.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Beaulieu Funeral Home (110 W Truman Blvd, Newberry, MI 49868). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
