He was predeceased by: his parents, George Maki and Fern Maki (Scott); and his sister Jill. He is also survived by cousins and numerous friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (113 W John St, Newberry, MI 49868). A celebration of life was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed to the First Presbyterian Church or to the Newberry High School Sports Boosters to be designated for the track and field program in his loving memory.
